Changing the Jewelry Industry.

As you know, I am a big believer in the importance of owning gold right now. I have done a lot of research in the gold industry, which lead me to a new business called MENE.

MENE is a very interesting business that is revolutionizing jewelry. I know that the word “revolutionary” is a strong and overused word, but I think it’s accurate in this case.

First, they only create 24 karat gold or platinum jewelry, so it is investment quality gold (none of the 10k, 14k, or 18k stuff).

Second, they have absolutely beautiful designs. The lead designer is Diana Widmaier Picasso. Yes, Picasso! She’s the granddaughter of the infamous Picasso, and she is tremendously skilled too.

Third, they are completely transparent in how they price their pieces. They show you how much gold is in each piece, how much the gold is worth and how much the mark-up is.

As a final note, jewelry is a good way to own gold. Jewelry has always been exempt from confiscation in the past, and it’s also a way to transport jewelry from country to country. But if you are going to use jewelry as an investment, make sure it’s investment quality gold.
