As you know, I am quite aware of big tech and how evil they are, but I just watched “The Social Dilemma” documentary on NetFlix and my eyes were opened even wider. The key thing that stuck out to me in the movie was a quote that said something like this, Most people think that Google and Facebook make money from the data they collect about you, but this is not right. These companies make money by changing your behavior, and they do this by combining data collection with artificial intelligence.
I strongly encourage you to a) watch The Social Dilemma, b) stop using the Google search engine and start using DuckDuckGo, c) drop gmail, yahoo and live mail and instead get a ProtonMail account (remember to sign up for this newsletter with your new email account), and d) be VERY careful on Facebook.

It’s amazing that a documentary/movie critical of Google/Facebook was even allowed to exist on Netflix!
