You are free to disagree, of course. I used to have this view that you have to watch the news from Big Media in order to see the other side of things. But three things... First, I don't think it's possible to prevent yourself from being brainwashed to some degree if you keep that spigot open. Second, even if you actively try to remove yourself from Big Media, you will still hear their message plain and clear. Third, by listening to honest, independent journalists and commentators, I receive a very well rounded view of the world. Moreso than people who listen to Big Media.
