I stream The Blaze Glenn Beck, Steve Deace, Pat Grey etc. they brought my family through the long dark days of Co***stan with research from the Drs actually treating people from the start of the virus not after you were so sick that recovery chances were reduced. With so many choices for conservative Christian opinions I find that they do a great job covering all the issues we are struggling with. I also like your perspectives. Thank-you

You'll be hard pressed to find better honest, relevant reporting than Bill O'Reilly and his No Spin News. Find it at billoreilly.com

Like most good advice, a bit hard to do. I am currently having difficulty getting rid of the physical clutter in my house. Hard to do - it seems there is not time to do it. Thank you for the advice. I will keep it in mind and try to do what is difficult. Elizabeth

What is hard to do? Stop watching the news from Big Media? I simply turned off my cable, saved a little bit of money and started getting my news from different sources. It's a change of habits, but it's worth it.

My daughter will have an apoplectic fit if I try to turn off the cable. I can quit helping her pay for it (another fit) but she will get it all by herself if she wants it. She does sitcoms, mostly. I don't like replays of sitcoms.

I am not good at finding other sources of news.

That is what is hard.

Although adhering for years to around 75% of what you suggest, I disagree with total disconnect. It proves imperative to know your enemy. The Left know their enemy well, as demonstrated by America advancing daily toward total destruction. To know my enemy, for instance, I subscribe to an influential leftist blog, and it proves educational in watching its maneuvers from donations to postings to supporters, et cetera.

What you warn about brainwashing due to repetitiveness rings true. One must remain alert to this risk. The risk is worth it, however, because being oblivious sticks one's head in the proverbial sand.

[Using your commentaries as a yardstick, this counts as my first disagreement, so I must not be brainwashed yet.]

You are free to disagree, of course. I used to have this view that you have to watch the news from Big Media in order to see the other side of things. But three things... First, I don't think it's possible to prevent yourself from being brainwashed to some degree if you keep that spigot open. Second, even if you actively try to remove yourself from Big Media, you will still hear their message plain and clear. Third, by listening to honest, independent journalists and commentators, I receive a very well rounded view of the world. Moreso than people who listen to Big Media.

If I had not to try out different info sources how would I have come to know of Glen Meder? Not knowing him and his thoughts I would be that much the poorer, intellectually. I would doubt my own similar thoughts for I would not have known there are others that think like me. I feel we should look around but be extremely careful what we get pulled into. That is risky but that is also part of our own growth. There will be mistakes, some fatal, but that's how it is. Great Article!

I would also add James Lindsay and his podcasts (New Discourses). He is one of the most well informed, articulate voices currently opposing CRT, CSJ. Highly recommend his two latest books: Race Marxism and The Marxification of Education

I totally agree, Glenn. I have not watched mainstream news since forever. I get my real news from CHD TV and many other independents. If I hear or see a TV with news on, I walk away or turn it off myself (if I can) in public places. Folks need to wake up before it's too late. Thanks for another great topic!

Cutting the cord to the TV was the best thing to do and I get more done by reading, listening and doing more productive things. Praying helps me also.

I would agree with all your sources but Alex Berenson. I use to follow him but he just recently was seen on Twitter berating and discrediting the vaccine injured! The woman he highlighted has medical records to back up her injuries but he never bothered to act like a journalist and investigate her story! It isn't right to mock the injured and as nurse myself, that is acting like the unintelligent opposition.

I agree with you. I have liked Alex on some things, especially regarding COVID. But other things I totally disagree with him on.

Thanks Denny. The easiest way is on your phone's podcast app. If you have an iPhone, look at Apple Podcasts, and then search for Glenn Beck and Tom Woods and the others. You can also go here: https://yewtu.be/channel/UCvqtzdcURSqNjY9RQEK4XmQ to subscribe to the Glenn Beck YouTube channel without actually using YouTube.

On the money, Glenn. Brain washing is in our DNA ! ( the not so good part of human evolution )

If U think of it ,the word : "believe, belief." is suspicious too. it is the opening slot in our being to

brainwashing.

Yes, corruption is rampant and deep. It will take a while for all the lies and deceptions to be revealed but it will happen. Another good source for the truth, "The Economic Ninja, on Youtube."

Take the time to talk to your children about this. Our most vulnerable members of society are being indoctrinated even more than we are. They have no way to fight back, and they desperately need to hear simple truth. Not to take it back with them to school and argue, it's built to ignore and punish students who speak out. But to know for themselves that much of what they are hearing does not stand the test of fact or reason. Even if it comes from a teacher they really like. Teach them how to research and find what's true.
