Home educated kids typically score 15 to 30 percentile points above public-school students on standardized tests.
Home-educated students typically score above average on the SATs and ACTs.
87% of peer-reviewed studies on social, emotional, and psychological development show homeschooled students perform better than those in government schools.
69% of peer-reviewed studies on success into adulthood (including college) show adults who were home educated succeed and perform better than kids that attended government schools

Loved the music! I've been a Beach Boys fan since back in the day.
I've watched several of John Bush's programs and like what he says. Like you, he says it as it is. Regarding the homeschooling I completely agree. For a number of years, I judged 4H at the County Fair. I was so impressed with so many of the kids as they presented their projects. I found out in conversation that about 70% of them were home schooled and 4H was their social programs. Those kids were head and shoulders above the public-school students in their demeanor, ability to look you in the eye and explain the project, their word choices and just general overall professionalism. Were I a young parent I would do my absolute best to home school. Only way to control what and how your kids are taught.
