Dear Glenn, you are doing a tremendous job. You have helped me so much in your analysis of everything and in your financial recommendations and thoughts. I feel supported in many of my views when I read what you write and think. And I super appreciate your continuing efforts to bolster up people's positive feelings and give some hopeful suggestions for everyday life and balance in all of your communications. I want to locate the truth and your perspective helps me think about everyhting going on now and contributes to my own analysis and understanding. Your dedication to helping others which to me appears almost entirely selfless and altruistic amazes me. It's people like you who give me hope for the integrity of humanity. I may not always agree with every particular, but it is apparent to me that you offer your information and understanding in the spirit of true caring and after serious thought and respect for your readers, and their various opinions.
I'd like to strongly second the comments of Debra Sanders below. She beautifully sums up some great points in her response. In fact, even this series of comments is an amazing opportunity for your readers to hear each other and get a sense of other like-minded people, And by that I don't mean that we have to agree on everything, but that we might have a thoughtful, honest, respectful discussion in the spirit of seeking the truth. I'm sure many of us have experienced some degree of backlash from friends and acquaintances like the one you have highlighted, or almost worse, no response at all but, rather, utter silence, and consequently feel particularly isolated in this period of draconian restrictions. I think these people are operating from a place of extreme fear, which according to scientific studies impairs the thought and logic centers of the brain. So it's uplifting for me to see this thread that you have provided. In fact, perhaps your friend did you a blessing in being the motivation for this conversation to take place. Please keep up the good work, keep you information and viewpoints coming. Of all the emails that are flooding my inbox, yours is one of the few I look forward to receiving. Best wishes to you and yours.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comments Isobel! I really appreciate it. I work really hard at this newsletter, and it makes it all worth it to know that it is appreciated so much. Thank you!
