You are certainly not the first to receive this kind of attack due to your beliefs. A couple of years ago a "friend" turned on me because of my prepper outlook. We had been good buddies for more than 20 years , fishing and camping many times. I merely asked him about what preparedness for this unknown future he had made and he said I was just paranoid. He accused me of being negative, and dark and he preferred to believe that everything would work itself out for the good. When I mentioned that we will never be able to repay our national debt ,( at that time it was only 17 trillion!) he said that the g'vmt would figure out something. A few days later I also received a blistering e-mail, and notification that he did not wish to continue our friendship. Sadly, he also attacked our weekly coffee klatch and bad mouthed all of us, including my sweet wife. It really hurt, and I empathize with you. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly and I was never able to talk it over with him. I believe he may have developed dementia and I forgave him, and prayed for him. You'll be O.K. You are a decent man and are doing a great service. Remember, even the prophets were ridiculed and rejected. God Bless you!
