Glenn and Eric, thank you for the great advice you provide us about managing our privacy. After reading this article about 3 times I feel I’m ready to now close my Facebook account which is really just a giant source of aggravation—especially now that too many people I know are using it to express their insane political opinions. Not only will it give me more privacy but a lot more peace of mind. Now that you are recommending X, I feel comfortable becoming active on there. Glad to hear X is reporting the truth! I’ll be sure to choose “following” instead of “For You.”
I tried setting up an account on X, but after trying several times to complete the authentication process (a series of matching up images), I was successful more than once, but at the end it always said that a problem had occurred and I needed to start over again. I finally gave up. It's as though I was being blocked from setting up an account. I don't know of any help or support function I can contact to resolve this issue. If you know of any, please let me know.
Yes, those captchas are crazy. Whenever I run into problems with the never ending picture select captchas, I switch to the audio version. That seems to be a lot easier and it typically only takes one try.
No! I don't use social media anymore! I tried Twitter out shortly, I didn't like it because I found people to be rude! I would read the comments on the feed of the people that I followed and people made a lot of nasty comments back and forth and I thought 🙄 "boy the human race sure has slid back and devolved in human evolution!" So I deleted my account and got off!
I just recently deleted Instagram! I'm going to delete Facebook too! I haven't been on Facebook in about 2 years now! I don't want to!
Thank you Glenn, since I've been following your teachings and attending your webinars I've learned a lot about privacy and what big tech is doing! How nefarious they really are in harvesting our personal information!
So the only social media I use today is Substack! I find Substack pleasant to use, I've seen maybe one troll on somebody's post and that troll got blocked! I do go to BitChute and Rumble for information on current events but I haven't signed up for an account on BitChute or Rumble so I'm Anonymous there and I use a VPN always! Thanks to you Glenn, I had no idea what a VPN was until I listened to you so thank you for educating me on what a VPN is and how necessary using a VPN is for protecting your privacy! I'm funny about the sites that I go to now!
As far as Facebook goes, I went there and edited off my personal information and made changes in the settings for personal identifying information! I basically stopped using Facebook after learning what Facebook really is and why Facebook is doing what it's doing! I've decided to delete my Facebook account and I will do that next! But last time I was on Facebook I was blown away and how much personal information that people post, such as their location, pictures of where they are and where they are going, pictures of their children at a public location or at school 😳! Which I find all of this scary because crazy people or pedo's can have access to this posted information on people's children now!
People don't seem to think twice about posting these things and they see no harm in doing it!
Of course if we lived in a safe world no problem but we don't live in a safe world!
So thank you Glenn for the valuable work that you are doing to educate people about their privacy and security!
Yes, Substack is also good. I agree with your comment about Facebook and the amount of information that people freely share. There really needs to be a big wake-up call. I'm trying to do my part to make that happen... As far as Twitter goes, yes, there are some rude and crazy people on it. But really it comes down to two things... First, be selective in who you follow, and stop following people who are rude/crazy. Second, select the "Following" tab instead of the "For You" Tab.
Glad you are here, because I am feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by what I get through my email feed, most of which I delete. This is where I get my information because I do not do social media and am technologically rather incompetent and do not know how to handle "settings" or clean up my feed. There are a few I have learned to trust, and you are one of them. I might like to check out a few others further, but am limited in expertise and money - and the Internet/email is awash with those who are selling something or asking for donations, making discernment difficult. So, thanks for your posts.
Great thoughts on social media platforms, and thanks for reiterating the importance of following "other independent thinkers" thru their podcasts and articles. "X" is a great communications tool and your guidelines for using "X" are important to follow. Many thanks
Glenn, thank you for all your work, and Eric, on behalf of freedom and we the people. Suffice it to say, what is core in all this, which you and others are fostering, is unfolding the conscious awareness within ourselves to recognize immediately what is false and true, what is taking place, to recognize what is left out when reported, what is subliminal in most messaging today, started long ago, in ancient times, written about by so many, unknown by most, because people do not read any more.
Nor, have direct experience in nature to know themselves through greater listening and seeing, available there in quiet. Reading actual books as well as time in nature without tech activate a different part of brain and consciousness. Preference is entertainment by screen. Whatever the form. What is going on in USA today was mapped out in the book Naked Communist. 44 of the 45 goals mentioned have been achieved here.
There is a pdf I would like to send to you if you contact me personally through email. Thanks again for your ongoing advocacy for truth.

Thank you for that commentary. I believe I’m going to get on X!
You're welcome.

You're welcome JP!
Thank you for the tips on X. I had not noticed that there were two pages mine was set to For You instead of Following.
You will notice that your feed is a lot more sane when you check "Following"
