The key point that most people are unaware of is that EVERYTHING happening is the the ongoing expression of my God's absolute sovereign will over everything happening in time and space in the whole universe. I encourage all Christians to read Genesis through Revelation at least every year. Even better, read different English translations. Becoming familiar with 'Old Testament' is key to understanding the 'New Testament'. The 'Old Testament' is my God's self revelation of what HE expects from 'HIS' people and the judgement that will fall upon them if they don't obey. Who are GOD's people today? Believers. I believe the reason for all these events can be placed at the foot of the 'church'. Most churches are MAN centered , not GOD centered. The shepherds of most churches are teaching tradition , NOT the scriptures. Most theology being taught contradicts scripture. This is my belief as to WHY these events are ongoing.
