I'm a French citizen, but I'm always enjoying reading your posts and those of others not part of the mainstream media.
Although he did a good job on the national and international scenes, I was never a supporter/fan of Donald Trump who's a good poker player, but not a good chess player like Putin and Xi. The very last of his presidency was a good exemple of that when he rose the stakes higher instead of pulling out with his gains, which could have allowed him to keep on playing after January 20. By not taking good care of the Georgia polling the GOP could have won, he gave free reins to the Democrats for at least two years. Worse, he pissed them so much that they won't forgive him now and put a lot of people, especially his staunchest supporters, in the same bag.
I notices that many of these supporters are nos backpedalling as they see what is coming. A little too late and too cowardly, I think so. Because the Dems aren't stupid and earmarked many of them long ago. So, as it's too late to ask for mercy and try to pretend they never supported Trump, people should keep their ground and defend what Trump did good. It will be hard for them for the next two years at least, but remember Peter betrayed three times and had to live the rest of his life with that.
