I am English. I worked in Connecticut in the mid eighties. When I was at my "going home" gathering, one of you guys asked me, "What do you want to take back to England with you from America?" I replied "Nothing", to audible gasps of disappointment. I then added, "The US Constitution". The response was along the lines of, "Ah but it has been corrupted", (meaning it was not worth much anymore). It seems I was the only one there who knew the value of it.
