Yes, I think the truckers will ultimately succeed, if the strength of grassroot support continues. They remind me of the "Occupy" movements.
I hope that people will find ways to strengthen their state governments in claiming their power. Not sure how the Feds will react or what we are in for; I believe in states' power, but would prefer to look on things without creating the perception of enemies, because that leads to war. However, if people neglect, for whatever reason (ease and convenience being two of them)to claim their power, it may be too late.
As for children, hopefully we have parents who are aware enough to defend their children. Everyone should read the book Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (in most libraries) and follow that by Brave New World Revisited by the same author. It is a warning of where we may be headed. How Huxley observed this at the time he wrote it is uncanny. In this Brave New World, the concepts of children and families no longer exist. Read and find out. In the meantime, parents, PLEASE homeschool and be very involved with whatever your children are involved with.
My children are all grown now, but I would love to be able to find pods of homeschoolers in my area so I might help them. Just don't know how to find them.
