I apologize for not expounding further... in years past we had the WaterWise counter distiller and used it until the bottom literally melted. My husband and I only drink distilled water and buy 12 cases/72 gallons about every 5-6 weeks. We were looking at the Waterwise 7000/8-Gallon Automatic Distiller regularly priced at $2,279.00 but o…

My husband and I only drink distilled water and buy 12 cases/72 gallons about every 5-6 weeks. We were looking at the Waterwise 7000/8-Gallon Automatic Distiller regularly priced at $2,279.00 but on sale for $1,767.00... which is out of stock. We lost our home to fire 16 months ago and are impatiently waiting for the final permit to be approved so we can begin the process of rebuilding. Thank you for the offer for a countertop unit, but our rental is 1/2 the size of our home and there is no available counter space in the tiny kitchen. When we move back into our new home we will have a place for a stand-alone unit that would handle several gallons ~ we each drink about 1 to 1-1/2 gallons a day, so running the countertop 24/7 would not work. I do like the idea that the AquaNui are made in the USA. This is not something that our insurance would cover so the cost will be out-of-pocket. I would love to hear more thoughts on the distillers. Back before the fire, we were starting our 'prepping' and bought your emergency water distiller and recovered it from the fire, but we haven't tried it yet to see if all the components are working. That's my husband's job........ 'nuff said. LOL. Thanks for your thoughts!
Thank you so very much!!! I will share all our email communications with my husband and then we can start saving for the distiller. We have to be in our rebuilt home before November 1 of this year or our insurance won't pay any further rent for us... it runs out at 2 years.
Take care and look for good things to smile about,

If you are looking at the larger products, I don't think there is much of a price difference, and the AquaNui products are much better.
