Introducing the Privacy Action Plan
Bite-Sized, Step-by-Step Process for Securing Your Online Privacy.
Hi from Glenn!
Over the years I’ve written many articles, recorded videos and held webinars about why you should ramp up your online privacy.
The short answer is that “Knowledge is power, and if companies and countries have knowledge about you, they gain power over you.”
I told you about the Chinese Social Credit System, which is currently in place in China. It’s a terrifying system, and unfortunately the powers that be want to bring it to America and other Western Countries. Already, the IMF is suggesting that everyone’s private browser history be included in your credit report (yes, your internet service provider already records every website you go to online and they sell that data).
This is only the first of many changes. In five years, everything you do will be in your credit report, and this report will control more than just your financial credit. It will be used to reward good behavior and penalize bad behavior. This is not a conspiracy theory, it’s a fact. It’s a very scary scenario, and they are pulling it off right under our noses because 99% of people have no idea what is happening.
So yes, privacy is very important.
Privacy is important for free speech, human rights and democracy. Beyond this though, protecting your privacy is an essential part of ensuring your online security.
I know a lot of people want to get private, so last weekend I held a live Q&A Webinar that was entirely devoted to answering your questions on how to get private. I learned something that should have been obvious; the main obstacle for people is that privacy is overwhelming. There seems to be a TON of things to think about.
So I came up with the idea of developing a “Privacy Action Plan”.
This Privacy Action Plan will be a step-by-step process to move you towards privacy. Each step will be a bite-sized action for you to take. We will have periodic Live Q&A Webinars to see if you are having any problems and to answer your questions.
I want you to stop thinking about the big picture, and instead simply focus on the task at hand. Follow each step as I give it to you and before you will know it, you will be much more secure and private.
HOW IT WORKS: Over the next couple months, I will send you one to three emails per week with little action tasks for you to do. I will try to keep these tasks small and easy to do. If you can, try to do the task before you move onto the next task.
INTERACTIVE: If you need help on a task, post a question in the comments and I will try to give you as clear a response as possible, and other people in the group can also share their perspectives.
LIVE Q&A WEBINARS: I will try to do one or two Live Q&A Webinars per month during March and April to answer your questions on the different tasks. For this reason, it’s better if you follow these tasks from the start.
REPLAYS AVAILABLE: If you miss something, you will simply be able to read the article or watch the video and catch up on your own time.
COMMUNITY: If you can join us this week and follow along while we do this, everyone can support each other. We will each share our progress (if you want to share), so it we will support each other in this effort.

Thank you!

P.S. You will notice that I’m trying to do more stuff for my premium subscribers. I still produce my 5-Point Update for everyone each week-ish, but I am trying to get more people to choose premium because in order to keep doing this newsletter I need to make enough to cover the bills. Your support helps tremendously. As you know, I’m an independent voice who is a truth seeker, which is rare in today’s world (in my humble opinion). The only money I make is from people who become premium subscribers. If you think that my newsletters are valuable, please support me. Thank you!
Don't be overly worried about me. I appreciate tips. But I am already not very visible by common standards. I don't own any smart anything. I keep my feature phone turned off when not in use, and I checked, and it does not transmit. I use search engines that don't keep track. I'm sure I get tracked some, but not like most people. I'm not sure it is possible to go completely off their radar, but we can certainly minimize it. While I appreciate your need for income, please realize that some of us simply cannot help. Some of us simply do not have enough income to be able to support you. Keeping this vital information to paid subscribers won't win you any friends.
Hey Glenn, Moni and mom here. We were just about to purchase Proton Mail, but we wondered if we can use this service with our own Apple Mail app and it would still work like it should with encryption? Thanks.
