“Progress is man's ability to complicate simplicity.”

Hi from Glenn!
I hereby present to you five points that I think you will enjoy!
🎥 FIRST, THE HIDDEN SECRETS OF MONEY.
When most people think about money, they think about how to make it, save it or invest it. But the question I want you to think about is, “what is money?”
Why do little pieces of paper have value? Why do prices of things always increase over time? Why does my family continue to struggle even though both me and my spouse work full time? Does it make sense to save money when inflation (devaluation of the dollar) is outpacing any returns that my bank pays me? Mike Maloney’s Hidden Secrets of Money series is a fascinating look at what money really is and how you can protect your money even when government gets greedy? Watch this 10-part series. Here’s the first video to get you started. And here’s the link to subsequent videos in this series.
📖 SECOND, BOOK SUGGESTION: RISING RED.
If you like action-packed sci-fi books, give Red Rising by Pierce Brown a read (my preference is actually the audio book). Think Hunger Games on steroids. Mr Brown creates a truly different world, which is set 1,000 years in the future. Every planet (even Pluto) is inhabited by humans, but it is far from a peaceful place. While it’s action-packed, it’s also intriguingly complex. And the best thing is that every book in the series is better than the last. I highly recommend Red Rising. Enjoy!
📜 THIRD, THE USA IS NOT A DEMOCRACY! THANK GOD!
I would like to start a movement to never call the USA a democracy again.
Why?
Because the USA is NOT a democracy, it’s a constitutional republic. The differences are significant. A democracy is simply mob rule. In a democracy, slavery could become law if the majority of people wanted it. Our constitution draws a line in the sand that no law or politician can cross. It protects minorities from the majority. It protects the people’s rights from the power seekers who always want more power. Calling our system a democracy diminishes the power of our Constitution.

♟ FOURTH, WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM GAME THEORY?
Have you heard about the prisoner’s dilemma? Imagine that two contestants are playing for $1 million. They each have one decision to make: they can choose to cooperate or defect. If both contestants cooperate, they both split the pot. If both choose to defect, neither get anything, but if one person defects and one person cooperates, then the defector gets everything. About as simple as it gets, but this simple game can teach us a lot about life, nuclear war and survival. Have a look.
🤣 FIFTH, WE ALL LIKE FUNNY VIDEOS, RIGHT?
I think you will get a chuckle from this…
Have a fantastic week!
