💡 FIRST, DID YOU SEE MY ARTICLE YESTERDAY?

Yesterday I was inspired to write an article that told you why I’m optimistic for our future, even with all the chaos and attacks on our freedom right now. I was happy to receive a lot of great comments, such as this one by Linda, “You always tell the truth and write about how things truly are but this is one of your best pieces ever. Thank you for all you do to get the message out. Glad to be part of the "lion network".

I like the term “lion network”. I may have to do something with that.

🥩 SECOND, HOW TO SURVIVE FOOD SHORTAGES…

In yesterday’s article I said that we should be aware of, but not scared of the chaos that is coming our way. One of the key points was that of the coming food shortage.

Within the past year there have been a shocking number (over 100) of food processing plants in the US mysteriously go up in flames, as well as other shocks to our supply chain.

This, added to the fact that Biden’s new tax bill directly targets farmers, a shortage of fertilizer, protests by farmers in the Netherlands, Italy, Canada and elsewhere against new environmental laws that make it almost impossible for farmers to make a living, means that the food supply is in trouble.

There’s no question about it:

Food shortages are here and will get worse.

The President of the National Black Farmers Association, John Boyd Jr., said in June that “We are in a crisis right now as far as the food chain goes with the farmers in this country…We’re going to see a lot of empty shelves and a lot more high food prices.”

Not to mention we’re experiencing the highest rate of inflation since the 80s and the cost of everything is skyrocketing while savings are being wiped out.

But that doesn’t mean all hope is lost.

There is one thing you can do right now to weather the storm we’re living in and come out on the other side more prosperous than before.

How?

Through homesteading.

But I’m not talking about buying a giant plot of land and populating it with rows of vegetables, fruit trees, and animals (if you can do that, though, go for it!).

Most of us don’t have the luxury right now for that kind of exit plan.

You don’t need to live on 10 acres to homestead.

The broadest definition of homesteading is the pursuit of greater self-sufficiency.
