βThe most important element of a free society, where individual rights are held in the highest esteem, is the rejection of the initiation of violence.β
I have learned so much from Marjorie in the past three years, especially about making my own medicines. You and Marjorie together sharing your knowledge are such a powerful Force for good, helping us take back our sovereign rights and realizing true independence.
Now I must get very involved in growing my own food. Growing up in rural Indiana where almost everyone had a garden and I just took that for granted, I am now realizing how dependent I have become on a food system that is crashing. I am learning as much as I can now at 71, remembering what I once knew, wishing my parents and grandparents could tell me in person what I have forgotten. I am very grateful for the resources both of you are sharing to make this important transformation possible.
Yes, the timing of it all has been fascinating. Bravo! to you for highlighting this in your "rant." I've been contemplating this aspect since the "end" of Covid, Canada as we knew her, and the Olympics.
Another thought is β¦.Ukraine isnβt a free country either not like us nor even Britain. So, what exactly are we doing; Biden is engaged so to speak to both countriesβ¦..what wouldnβt he do and what would he and with whom? Plus , the new info about Ukraine having a bio lab from usβ¦..we banned them under Obama only to have the gov pilfer the funds to NIH to Harvard, UNC-CH, EcoHealth and China. Now the Ukraine has one????? Were we trying to hide it and Russia decided to let us all is know about our own govs involvement in another????? A lot more ???βs and a lot more mistrust for this admin not to mention all the $$$pushed into elections this year and a lot more pushback from citizens and parents. A lot of prayers needed but glad we are seeing this and some willing to stay and fight for freedom while others say they would leave. You know who really is a true citizen with that
Good column Glenn. The biggest problem we have in the US is our inability to study and understand history. Dont have to even go back to WWII history but just a few years ago. Ukraine was in a civil chaos that caused the current problems. Russia agreed to stop the fight then and be given Russian inhabited territories in Ukraine. Ukraine broke the agreement and led to the current fight. We should just stay out and send aid after the fight is over. Putin just wants what he was promised in 2014.
Glenn I am old enough to remember 13 Days the documentary where John Kennedy saved the world from a nuclear war by his agreement to pull our nuclear war heads out of Turkey in exchange for Russia removing warheads from Cuba . The west has broken treaty after treaty with Russia about not putting warheads on Russian border . The truth if you know it will set you free .
This is not investment advice. You have to start with an exchange, such as Kraken.com, Binance.us or Kucoin and you have to put money into it and then buy your crypto. But then, you want to move the crypto currency off of the exchanges onto your own wallet. I personally think that privacy coins, such as Monero and Pirate Chain are the only ones that offer the privacy and security that were the original reason for creating crypto currencies.
Thanks for the links. Is one site better than the other? Do they have the same buy/sell fees? Do all three have monero and pirate chain? Does each site have a wallet where the crytpo can be moved?
Try Kraken. You can buy Monero there, but I don't think they sell Pirate Chain. You will have to transfer your crypto to a smaller exchange like TradeOgre.com to get Pirate Chain. But then put it in your own wallet.
Glenn, I agree with you on virtually everything you say, but I continue to question anyone who wants to put money in crpto. How can crypto be so secure when it is totally dependent on something as vulnerable as the internet? For example, Russia is clearly threatening to mess with our internet.
Yes, crypto is definitely more speculative than gold and silver, but I think privacy coins such as Monero and Pirate Chain have a place. As far as the internet being vulnerable, what is more vulnerable than the internet is the dollar and the supply chain. The fact is, we live in such an interconnected world that many, many people in the US will starve if the internet actually goes down.
I guess I don't understand what you mean by privacy coins. I can hold a gold or silver coin in my hand. I can hold a dollar in my hand and even though it is depreciating, I can still exchange it for goods and services. Crypto money exists only on some ledger on the internet. I fully expect disruptions to occur on the internet as well as the electrical grid which the internet depends on.
I understand, and quite honestly, I don't know the right answer regarding crypto currencies. It may be worth something and it may not. Right now, there is value because people assign it value, but if the economic system crashes, will crypto still have value? We will have to see. The intent is to have a form of currency that is outside the banking system
I do not agree. It might be who you associate with? However, yes you are right that many Americans think NOT at all!!! Many DO! I am blessed to be surrounded by like-minded, patriotic, WIDE-AWAKE people! I do still see the sheep though.
Your grandfather was a peace officer. Present day folks wearing that uniform are law enforcement officers. There is a very significant difference. Years ago I worked with an old time cop. He was a real peace officer. I used to say about him he could walk into a bar where a full scale riot was taking place and without any back up in ten minutes everybody in the place would want to buy him a drink. He knew more street psychology than the most degree-laden pedagogue at the most prestigious university in the world. On weekends he often times had to grant a 72 hour divorce and did. There was a very practical reason for that. It saved people from getting an undeserved criminal record and kept kids out of the clutches of "Child Protective Services" a real misnomer if I ever heard one.
With regard to the Ukraine, I wonder how many folks reading this can name the countries that border Ukraine on all sides? If they have been following the news they may know that Belorus and Poland border on the northeast and northwest, how about the south and west? Anybody?
Before all the hoopla about the "invasion" how many were even aware there was a country called Ukraine? Did anybody know Poland bordered it on the northwest? I sure didn't and I wasn't bothered by the fact that I didn't know either. One more time we are getting sucked into a situation where we have no business. If the other NATO countries feel threatened, let them handle it. We should be happy to SELL them armaments. Maybe it will hep stabilize the dollar.
I wonder if we will be holding nuclear attack drills where we have to done flimsy masks that don't particularly do anything and hide out in underground parking structures? With GPS navigation we won't have to worry about blackout drills βmaybe. They could still be held in order to generate fear among folks. Is anybody old enough to remember blackout drills during WWII?
Or the bomb shelters stocked with all kinds of survival gear during the Cold War. Did anybody do Duck and Cover during class?
Here is but a smattering of info links you can look at, if you choose to, that may help you determine what YOU think about the Ukraine situation -- not what the media and globalist mouthpieces tell you to think. The simplest for me is if the narrative is anti-Putin, the opposite is likely the truth. If Soros is calling for the world to support Ukraine, then don't. Before coming up with an "opinion" on something, I find it helpful to go through at least dozens of (independent, investigative) sources before beginning to determine what the truth is. In this toxic swill of disinformation, deep digging and discernment is required.
Ok, thanks. But that's not the point of my article. My article is about the USA, not Ukraine. I want people to focus on what is really going on here, not over there where they want us to look. We need to stop letting the media distract us from getting our own house in order.
What bothers me about the Ukraine is: 1. Biden and Burisma 2. Biden and Russia and 3. Biden and China all paid into his coffers! It wouldnβt matter who at this point, any one of those 3 push on him and he would go to war. He doesnβt represent us because he was bought and paid forβ¦..so who are we helpingβ¦Burisma ppl and officials or did Russia say they will do whatnot and you will do nothing but verbal accolades for peace???? Not liking any of this or the institutions because they are tied togetherβ¦..

Thank you very much Diana.
Right on! Can you recommend a Crypto Course for Dummies?
I will have a suggestion very soon
I agree, have you seen why is Ukraine the west's fault featuring John mearsheimer, on YouTube
Yes, the timing of it all has been fascinating. Bravo! to you for highlighting this in your "rant." I've been contemplating this aspect since the "end" of Covid, Canada as we knew her, and the Olympics.

Where do we buy monero and pirate chain? How do we know which cyrptos are best? Which do you recommend other than those two, and why?

Spot on Glen I think people who awake see this but there are quite a few still asleep
I'm trying to wake people up
I disagree with your characterization that Americans do not think for themselves. A more precise assertion would be that scarcely any Americans THINK.
I do not agree. It might be who you associate with? However, yes you are right that many Americans think NOT at all!!! Many DO! I am blessed to be surrounded by like-minded, patriotic, WIDE-AWAKE people! I do still see the sheep though.

Great point about the peace officers. I totally agree, and yes, you described my grandfather perfectly.

Exactly. But the U.S. is the REASON (or at least a very large part of why) this conflict exists. The two cannot be separated, unfortunately.
